Countdown Timer
The time left until a moment you choose, inside your page or along its top or bottom. At zero it leaves the page, or says one sentence you wrote.
Live today, in every Workspace.
- One script
- Added to your site once. Countdown Timer and every widget after it arrive through the same tag.
- Where it appears
- Inline, where you mark it · Placed for you.
- Built to be read
- Built to WCAG 2.2 AA in both themes. It takes your site's font, and the colour and corners you choose.
What the countdown timer does
- One moment, for everyone
- You set the end in your own time zone, and every visitor counts down to that same moment, wherever they are.
- Nothing faked
- It never starts again for a visitor who comes back. The time left is the real time left.
- What happens at zero
- It leaves the page and the page closes up behind it, or it says one sentence you wrote in the time's place. A button goes with the time.
- Inside the page or along an edge
- A card in an element you mark, or one line across the top or bottom of every page, which a visitor can close.
- Your site's look
- Tiles in your colour or in your page's own, your corner radius, in light, in dark, or following the visitor's setting.
- Read, not announced
- Screen readers are told the time left when they reach it, to the minute, and are never interrupted by a second ticking.
On your site in three steps
- Set it in the Studio
Start from a sale, a launch, an event or an early price. Change the words, the end and the look.
- Publish
Publishing writes a version, and every earlier one stays in the Studio's history.
- Add one line, once
One line on your site. For a card inside the page, add a marker where it should appear; along an edge it needs nothing else.
Questions about the countdown timer
Something else? Write to us at [email protected].
Does it start again for each visitor?
No. It counts down to one moment you choose, the same for everyone. A timer that restarts for every visitor is a promise that is not true, and this one does not make it.
Whose time zone is it in?
The end is one moment. You type it in your own time zone, and a visitor anywhere sees the time left until that moment — right even when their device's clock is not.
What happens when it reaches zero?
Whatever you chose: it leaves the page and nothing moves into a gap, or it shows one sentence of yours. It cannot be published to end at a moment already past while it is set to leave, because it would show nothing.
Can it repeat, every day or every week?
Not yet. It counts down to one moment. To run it again, set a new end and publish.
Will it slow my site down?
No. It loads after your page has appeared, and only on the pages that show it, so your visitors never wait for it.
Can my AI assistant set it up?
Yes. Connect an assistant that supports MCP, and it can make, change and publish a countdown for you, with your access and nothing more.
